2024 Annual Report
Two Bikes Knoxville
A Note from Our Executive Director
When I started at this organization, I did not realize the ride I would be in for. Biking was always a personal-to-me hobby. I enjoyed solo rides. I wanted to reach PR’s and get the workout in for the week. Two Bikes showed me the other wonderful side of cycling. Social rides, bike commuting, slowing down and sharing it with others. I believe that what I have experienced being on this team is a reflection of the good that this organization does for the Knoxville community as a whole. Two Bikes’ mission is to foster opportunity, sustainability, and community through bicycles and I can confidently say that we are doing the work to carry out that mission.
As you read the summary of our programs and the impact Two Bikes had in 2024, please bear in mind that this would not be possible without the community cheering us on. A special thank you to the community of donors, members, and non-profit partners who deeply believe in the work we do here at Two Bikes. We are grateful to you and your support, and we hope to continue to spread the joy of cycling for many more years to come.
All the best,
- Annmarie Groves

Pedal It Forward
The Pedal It Forward Program helps ensure that everyone in Knoxville gets to experience the benefits of riding a bike. This bike recycling program serves people facing housing instability, individuals in recovery from substance abuse, and households with low to moderate incomes who do not have the means to purchase a bike on their own. It also diverts thousands of pounds of waste from the landfill each year.
We are so grateful we can play a role in these success stories along with our program partners who help coordinate the donations.
