Ride Summary: Get ready to take on May’s First Friday art circuit. If you’ve ever wanted to experience Knoxville’s art scene but didn’t have a route or a crew, then this ride is for you! Lauren Farkas is an artist, art teacher, and local bike commuter who lives for First Fridays with awesome people and inspiring art, making her the perfect captain for this ride.
The route will head south, across the river, to the Candoro Marble Building for the Triennial show, then back north to the Mighty Mud and Knox Darkroom community studios, and end downtown at the 100 block galleries near the shop. Depending on what exhibitions pop up, there may be alterations to the route as we get closer to the date!
