Ride Summary: Summer is officially winding down and for some of us it can be a real bummer. But nothing takes the sting out of the shorter days than fried Oreos and demo derby. Annmarie will be leading a ride from the shop out to Tennessee Valley Fair at Chilhowee Park. Once we get to the fair it’ll be choose-your-own-adventure until 8pm when we’ll regroup and head back to the shop. If you want to stay later than 8-ish you should, because you are your own god-master, but plan accordingly. Points of interest include livestock, a chili cook-off and a DEMOLITION DERBY.
Come prepared for this ride, ok. Fair admission is 12 BUCKS. They probably won’t let you bring your bike into the fair so bring a LOCK. And real talk…it’s not July anymore, it’ll get dark, so please please please bring LIGHTS. Earbuds for the derby are optional.
